Vindstad Dock

Vindstad is a true gem among the fjords of Moskenesøya, the place where I currently live and work on my painting here in the Lofoten Islands.
Accessible only by sea, or after a long walk through the mountains, this dock is the entrance to the village, where only a few traditional houses remain—some restored—and life unfolds quietly, beneath the towering mountains.

Silence, the appreciation of nature, and of oneself as an individual become inevitable here, making this place one of sublime inspiration and beauty.
